Arizona residents have a new place to go to escape the heat. That is, if they don’t mind being surrounded by poop. The Poozeum, located in Williams, has more than 7,000 pieces of fossilized poop on display, ranging from tiny termite droppings to one massive specimen that weighs 20 pounds. The Poozeum’s curator, George Frandsen, says he first fell in love with fossilized feces when he purchased a dropping at a shop in Utah when he was just 18. “It was funny. It was gross," he says. "But I learned very quickly it could tell us so much about our prehistoric past and how important they are to the fossil record.” What’s the weirdest museum you’ve been to?
