Pop star Britney Spears has reportedly sold the rights to her music catalog to publisher Primary Wave for approximately $200 million. The deal was confirmed by a source with knowledge of the agreement. Spears, known for hits like “Oops!… I Did It Again!” and “...Baby One More Time,” was released from her conservatorship in 2021 and recently published a memoir detailing her experiences. The sale of her music catalog follows a trend of artists, including Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, selling their catalogs in recent years. Primary Wave also owns the rights to music from Stevie Nicks, Prince, and Biggie Smalls.
