Chappell Roan is the newest global ambassador for MAC Cosmetics and will star in the brand's campaigns worldwide beginning in 2026.
Roan expressed her excitement about the partnership with MAC, stating, "This brand has always made space for people like me; since day one they’ve embraced art, queerness, drag, and self-expression."
Makeup artist Andrew Dahling, who collaborated with Roan on her previous looks, described her Grammys vibe as "an archive moment" and aimed to keep it in a romantic, Victorian world.
Dahling transformed Roan into her signature theatrical look for the debut MAC campaign, drawing inspiration from film-noir monochrome and 1930s military references.
Nicola Formichetti, MAC Cosmetics global creative director, praised Roan as "one of the most exciting and powerful artists of this generation, a true creative force who uses beauty as a form of bold, emotional storytelling."
