Pour Yourself a Red One: Heinz Unveils the KegChup

ust in time for football’s biggest watch party of the year, Heinz is changing the game-day spread in a very big way. Meet the Heinz KegChup — a 114-ounce, stainless steel keg filled with the unmistakably rich Heinz ketchup fans swear by.

Inspired by the beer industry’s tried-and-true solution to keeping drinks flowing, Heinz asked a simple question: Why should ketchup ever run out before the game does? The result is a first-of-its-kind ketchup keg designed to keep fries dipped, burgers dressed, and snack tables fully stocked from kickoff through the final whistle.

The timing couldn’t be better. While beer may be the longtime MVP of watch parties, the Big Game is also one of the biggest food days of the year, with the majority of fans watching from home and making their own snacks. Yet ketchup — a game-day essential — has always been limited to the bottle, creating last-minute scrambles when it runs dry. The KegChup aims to eliminate that problem entirely: just tap, pour, and keep the party going.

Standing 19.5 inches tall, the Heinz KegChup features an easy-to-use spigot and holds enough ketchup to fuel even the most epic game-day gatherings. It’s designed for maximum convenience and maximum enthusiasm — letting fans measure ketchup with their hearts, not a squeeze bottle.

According to Heinz, the idea isn’t coming out of nowhere. The brand teased the concept on Instagram last fall, where it quickly caught fire, racking up nearly one million views and thousands of fan interactions. That response helped turn the KegChup from a fun idea into a real, limited-edition product.

To celebrate the launch, Heinz is giving a small group of fans the chance to win a KegChup through its Instagram from January 27–29. The brand also plans to offer exclusive order access ahead of a broader limited release scheduled for the start of the 2026 football season.

After more than 150 years of delivering its signature taste, Heinz is once again proving it knows its fans — and exactly how they like to enjoy game day. This season, the ketchup doesn’t quit before the clock does.
