After weeks of fan theories and speculation, Taylor Swift has officially confirmed she's releasing an original song for Disney and Pixar's upcoming Toy Story 5. The new track, titled "I Knew It, I Knew You," arrives June 5, ahead of the movie's June 19 release.
According to Swift, she's been a fan of the Toy Story franchise since childhood and jumped at the opportunity to contribute music to the film. The song was reportedly inspired by Jessie, the beloved cowgirl character voiced by Joan Cusack. Swift co-wrote the track with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.
Fans had been connecting the dots for weeks after mysterious "TS" billboards appeared in major cities and several Toy Story-themed clues popped up online. Those rumors turned out to be true when Swift made the announcement on social media Monday morning.
The song marks Swift's first new music since the release of her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl, and it looks like Toy Story 5 may have one of the biggest soundtrack moments of the summer
