The 180th Vermont State Fair is August 18th-August 22nd!
A Vermont Tradition Since 1846
The Vermont State Fair has been celebrating Vermont's agricultural heritage for nearly 180 years. What began as a one-day agricultural exhibition has grown into one of the state's premier annual events, featuring livestock exhibits, agricultural competitions, local crafts, demonstrations, and entertainment for visitors of all ages.
Stroll through the exhibition halls to admire artwork, photography, gardening displays, crafts, culinary entries, and more while learning about Vermont's rich farming traditions. Animal barns and agricultural exhibits offer visitors an up-close look at the state's livestock and rural heritage.
Rides, Fair Food, and Live Entertainment
No trip to the fair is complete without a ride down the midway or a taste of your favorite fair foods. Enjoy carnival rides and games, classic treats like fried dough and maple goodies, shopping vendors, and plenty of live entertainment throughout the fairgrounds.
Daily attractions include family-friendly performances, demonstrations, animal encounters, racing pigs, antique tractor displays, and much more, with grandstand events taking place throughout the week.
