The Backstreet Boys made a splash with a viral Super Bowl commercial for Coinbase and are now campaigning to be the next Super Bowl halftime performers. After their karaoke-style ad featuring “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” generated buzz, the group expressed interest in performing at the 2027 Super Bowl in Los Angeles. Despite previously turning down a Super Bowl halftime offer in 2001, the band is now excited about the idea of a nostalgia-filled set and even expressed interest in sharing the stage with NSYNC.
