In a city where anything can happen, sometimes the most unbelievable stories turn out to be true — or at least, partially true.
Over the weekend, a Justin Bieber lookalike managed to fool event promoters, security staff, and even a few fans at a popular Las Vegas nightclub, sneaking his way onto the stage mid-set before being dramatically removed when the ruse was discovered.
Witnesses say the impersonator, whose real name has not yet been released, bore a striking resemblance to the pop icon, complete with Bieber’s signature tattoos, platinum-blond buzz cut, and oversized designer hoodie. The impersonator reportedly arrived with a small entourage and walked confidently through VIP entrances, dropping enough name-drops and vague references to make himself sound legitimate.
The venue, the Wynn Las Vegas, was hosting DJ Gryffn set with a rumored celebrity guest. According to staff, the lookalike capitalized on the confusion and hype surrounding a possible Bieber appearance.
Security quickly intervened, and things reportedly turned from hilarious to tense. The faux Bieber was escorted off-stage and removed from the premises. Eyewitness videos show the man being calmly but firmly walked out by bouncers as onlookers laughed, booed, and recorded the spectacle.
