Summer isn't over yet, but pumpkin spice season is already here.
Dunkin’, Starbucks and Panera are bringing back their fall menus in August, giving fans an early taste of the flavors they wait for every year.
Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Returns August 19

The company announced the return date on its official Instagram account, confirming that its Pumpkin Spice lineup is coming back. The lineup includes returning pumpkin favorites, including the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, along with pumpkin donuts, muffins and MUNCHKINS.
For anyone ready for fall before summer is officially over, Dunkin’ is getting the season started early.
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns August 25
The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte returns August 25, 2026, Starbucks has confirmed.
The PSL will be joined by returning favorites including the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino.
Starbucks is also adding new pumpkin drinks this year, including an Iced Pumpkin Cream Shaken Espresso, Pumpkin Spice Chai and Iced Pumpkin Cream Matcha.
Beyond pumpkin, the fall menu includes returning pecan drinks such as the Pecan Crunch Latte and Pecan Cortado, plus the new Chaider, a chai-and-apple-cider-inspired drink.
The Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin is also returning.
Panera Gets in on Pumpkin Spice Season
Panera is also getting an early start on fall.
The chain's fall menu arrives August 19, bringing back its Pumpkin Spice Latte along with new seasonal drinks and treats.
The lineup includes a Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee and Pumpkin Spice Frozen Java, plus fall bakery items including a Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll and Caramel Pumpkin Slice.
Why Is Pumpkin Spice Coming Back So Early?
Pumpkin spice has become more than a seasonal flavor. The return of these drinks has become an unofficial signal that fall is on the way—even when August temperatures still feel like summer.
Coffee chains have also expanded far beyond the traditional pumpkin latte, adding cold brews, cold foam, chai, matcha and pumpkin-inspired bakery items.
And for pumpkin spice fans, the early arrival is pretty simple: why wait for fall when you can have it now?
Whether you're Team Dunkin’, Team Starbucks or looking for a pumpkin fix at Panera, the wait is almost over.
Pumpkin spice season is officially back. 🎃☕
